Both Heat-Sixers games this year have been pretty tough to watch. Both times the Sixers played them just about evenly for the first three quarters, only to get decimated (mostly by Lebron) in the fourth. Still, I guess that's a lot closer than most teams play them.

To go on a quick tangent here, I don't really understand why Iggy has been anointed as their "star" or whatever. He has gotten a lot better, especially with his three, but he's at his best when he does not feel like he has to carry the team on his back and does a bad Kobe imitation. He may be the team's most talented

Plot Question: The moderator of the debate was Napier's "campaign manager" which was why he was letting him go off on tangents and interrupt Shelby while barely seeming like he cared. Yet he also let Boyd give his sermon, which caused Napier to seem betrayed. So my question is if my assumption is right that Limehouse

I'm about to fall through the bathtub AND the roof right now.

This is my biggest concern about the sequel, because Michael B. Jordan was my favorite part about the movie, especially the part where they showed the picture of him as a tween, which was basically Wallace.

The Simpsons
Community
Louie
Seinfeld
Arrested Development
The Office U.K./ U.S. (rotating b/c of low amount of eps for U.K.)

I saw In the Name of the Father and Herzog's Bad Lieutenant on Friday, and liked them both pretty well, but they are sort of overshadowed by when I saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind on Saturday. I absolutely loved that movie, and while it may not have quite been the best movie of the past decade for me, it is

Thank you, good sir. I will watch those as soon as I can.

Thank you very kindly for this recommendation, I just watched it, and probably would have missed this excellent film without your comment. This is the first Bunuel movie I have seen, so I would appreciate it if there were others you (or other AVCers) could recommend.

Speaking of Mad Men, I was a mad man when I banged Eartha Kitt in that airport bathroom.

I am almost as excited about this as Abed is going to be about the return of Cougar Town. Also Community needs to show a clip from Cougarton Abbey's Christmas special.

I don't know if anything from Highway 61 Revisited counts as underrated, but "Queen Jane Approximately" is a song that I love and a great track that often gets overlooked. Dylan's singing in that song capitalizes on all of his potential as a vocalist, and Al Cooper's organ part is just magnificent.

Love that song. "Dirt Road Blues" is another terrific underrated song on Time Out of Mind.

Well, his character did say he was from Philadelphia, so lets hope that in the Terriers/Walking Dead universe that was Britt's twin, and that the actual Britt and Hank are kicking ass out west. Or we could just imagine a world where Terriers wasn't cancelled.

I would say that the exception to this is Click. That movie's left turn into complete sadness was not at all subdued or natural, they still attempted to keep the crass humor of the movie's first half, and its last-minute happy ending was not as feel-good as it wanted to be (Although this means that Click does not fit

I am going to be calling people "Noob Gingrich" until Newt fades from relevancy. Actually, I may still do it after that happens.

This was an excellent episode all around; it looks like the show is really hitting its stride a bit earlier than the previous years. Also, did anyone else think it might have been a wink to a particular AMC show when Fogel coyly said to Raylan that if he ever "breaks bad" he will consider what Raylan said about his

I think that there may be. The way I see it, season one will focus on Chip, season two on Gary, season three on Denise, and season four on Alfred, Enid, and Christmas. There were plenty of glazed over events in each character's past that the show could delve into further.

The Sunset Limited. It was pretty good and surprisingly entertaining for its premise.

Eli Gold is Cummings' character on The Good Wife, which I suppose is a show that does not engender references in the AV Club as well as Breaking Bad or Community. Also, my reference was not very good.
