I watched Dexter when I was a 16-year-old girl. But I didn't tell anyone I did because I thought people would think I was weird for watching it. It's really not the sort of thing teenage girls watch.
I haven't watched the second episode yet, but I thought that the start of the first ep was pretty creepy for Doctor Who. Moffat is definitely good at building suspense, and it makes for a more enjoyable show.
