I tend to get funny looks when I try to defend Pop but I think it's really a fantastic album, particularly if you sub in the rerecorded/remixed single versions of the songs. Wasn't the story there that they had the Popmart tour booked before they finished the album and ended up rushing to finish it just before leaving?
