If Chappelle's Show is in the top three sketch shows of all time, you really haven't watched enough sketch. Python, Kids In The Hall, Mr. Show, Human Giant, The State, early SNL, The UCB. I remember watching an entire episode that wasn't very good. The only sketch I remember from it was the Trading Spouses one, which isn't good at all. Look, I agree that Chappelle belongs on the list, and probably as high as it is, as well. Very few things have touched a nerve like that show did. But it's just nowhere…

I think Chappelle's Show was more hit and miss than people remember. People tend to remember the greatest sketches, of which there were plenty, but tend to forget that there were a lot of times that at it's worst was stereotypical "black people do this, white people do that" humor.

This is going to flop like a fish out of water. I don't think it looks bad, but I can just tell that the public will not be into this.
