When I saw that he was going to be on this episode, I just assumed that of course he'd be doing his H.R. Giger character, so I was kind of surprised that wasn't the case, especially with it being the Halloween ep.

Would've been nice to see Luke and Alex have a real heart to heart rather than the cop out the writers used of alluding to it happening but then cutting away instead of writing something. I don't know why, but that bothered me.
Comedy Central seems to be all about doing season 1 and 2 bundles lately for all their new shows (Key and Peele, Kroll Show, Nathan For You, Amy Schumer) and then single season DVD releases afterwards, so it wouldn't surprise me if the same thing will happen with Review
The artist that comes to mind for me is Kathryn Bigelow. Outside of the night vision infiltration sequence in Zero Dark Thirty, I was underwhelmed and completely non-plussed on Hurt Locker
Luke's new look did look pretty stupid, however I'm hoping they stick with it, if only to establish something for his character. It would be pretty ridiculous if next week he's back to normal Luke with no acknowledgement (although that probably will happen).
Sarah Hyland was giving off some real Megan Stevenson as A.J. Gibbs vibes in this episode. Another strong performance by her.
When I saw that, that honestly freaked me the fuck out. It was like "that is not a human being"
this was a surprisingly dark episode of modern family. beyond the obvious dark elements of haley being unable to get over andy, andy's binge eating, and cam and mitch's poverty there was also a kid with his head stuck in a cubbie and Alex's plot. it felt like everything was going to shit. weird tone for a season…
Put a cowboy cat on him and he could've passed for jamie foxx in django unchained
Looking at the header photo, it's amazing how much MEW looks like Erinn Hayes.
The joke about how Gwen no longer goes by Phylicia Rashad because "it isn't a good time" is such a subtle dig on Cosby, oh man.
"in brazil, which as we all know, is where we are right now"
I do enjoy how Lindsay is given the Dr. Valerie Flame role here, always introducing scenes with melodramatic VO
I like this, let's talk athletes who would fit in on CBB. After seeing Trainwreck I'd love to see LeBron do some more improv on a show like this. And obviously Blake Griffin.
Also Billy Eichner and Julie Klauser's new show, new episodes of Comedy Bing Bong, and the last episodes of Key and Peele. It is indeed a good time.
Hoping that the title of this movie is LETTERS FROM IWO EMOJIMA
very reminiscent of wet hot american summer after they get back from the city.
Two issues I had with this episode:
so excited that we got an episode of 'What's Your Fuck Style?' on the TV show!
I'd recommend Primewire
