Lola will really be on the outs with everyone then, right? She's having Mary's husband's baby and then steals Greer's intended? Greer may not want him, but yikes.

Yes. I'm sure she wants to fall in love with her husband, but what were the odds she was going to be in love with the guy she married if she wasn't pregnant? Marriage was about protection and pragmatism, not romance and soul mates. It's probably too cynical for a CW show.

The thing about how they trapped Damon is it's consistent, despite not being effective. It's the same way they trapped him when he was compelled to kill Jeremy and Stefan and Klaus were watching him.

Jeremy's taunting of Damon at the start of the episode though was pretty funny.

Last week was a lot to live up to. This one wasn't quite up to it. The crazy was taken down a notch.

Bash's handyman skills were cute. I'm not sure why they've made him so naïve. Wasn't he supposed to know the most about the pagans in the woods?

The conversation about their "vigorous" sex was unnerving, but his line about wanting a baby with her was sweet, although I really don't see him actually wanting a baby, but needing one. I still don't like Francis, but they occasionally give him some good lines.

Yes to everything about Lola. She also has to put a move on. She's planning on falling in love and getting married within the next few weeks?

Yeah, the black pee was a clear sign he's got something and not The Darkness.

Yeah, I don't think Amara or Silas had kids and there's no reason to think Nadia had them either. It's magic, not genetics.

I don't hate the actor, but I don't think what he was going for worked. He was trying cold and calculating, but it just didn't make an impression that this was a guy they should all be terrified about.

I thought Nina was really great and I know it's picky, but I have to say I was distracted with her running her hands through her hair a thousand times.

I also had no idea where she was at the very start. Why was it totally cleared out too? People don't take everything they own to go on vacation. It looked abandoned.

Stefan and Caroline were great (especially Caroline).

B-

It was her Coyote Ugly moment.

The previews did show him for next week at least. I think the Dr. Wes/Traveler antidote, which I'm not sure would heal just a werewolf bite, might give Tyler some things to do, i.e. bite vampires.

My heart is set on Caroline with the first hot guy with an accent, not this one. Isn't Enzo's lady love coming anyway?

It makes sense that the only way to not activate the compulsion is for no one to know the correct number. You could tattoo over it or eliminate all the people who knows how the process works, so they wouldn't know to look.

Truman could get killed by Tony Almeda's wife there. (It took me a while to remember when I had last seen her.)
