Off the top of my head: I've always enjoyed Jellyfish' The King is Half-Undressed in the 'sounds cheery/is actually quite dark' department.

Well played, sir.

Eggs!

Hey, what if it's a prequel?

Last Year at Yakuzabad is definitely not the easiest. I eased in with Tokyo Drifter. Which I'm going to watch tonight, because it's been a while.

Antoine Fuqua directed The Replacement Killers. It was certainly no The Corruptor!

I think I've said it before, but I've long dreamed of a barbershop quartet consisting of Lance Henriksen, Michael Ironside, Michael Wincott and Michael Clark Duncan. They would be called Lance & 3 Mikes.

Anyone who loved Carey's Hellblazer run should check out his Felix Castor novels too. It's Hellblazer in all but name (and a flute), and good, pulpy fun.

But what time is love?

I totally agree: the look on her face when Sheldon takes her hand in the episode was as good as the conspiratorial wink to Leonard at the end of the last one.

If Lowe stays on, they'll be back together next season. No way she's staying with Tom.

Try Highland Park as well. It's nice and smooth. Definitely a good place to start, though it's probably not obscure enough to be cool.

Bob Dylan often made do with two chords. Kids today have it too easy!

Thrashin' was where it was at. Way better skate scenes, IMHO (thanks, Stacy Peralta) And a future Academy Award nom in the cast, too!

Maybe he retired in another timeline.

He's no Dawes.

Would you say he's in a zone? A zone of danger?
