"The copy editor in my doesn't want to nitpick…."

Nice WtD callback, Fatty. Pretty much what I was thinking.

The greatest Wes Anderson moment is when Cate Blanchett reads Proust to her unborn child. That may be why the ladies (myself included) favor Life Aquatic.

Is that child also CGI?
She looks like a CG gelfling.

Ouch. I'm extra lame. Apologies, Noel, for my poor reading skills.

That scene is like a punch in the gut. Such a crusher, especially the way it just smashes to black.

How in the name of all that is holy did the UK Office not make the top 5, let alone top 10? Boo! Boo to your incorrect ordering and these-are-only-quasi-ranked cop out! Boo!

And they weep for their mortgaged dignity.

"Every one in a while" was in the email?

You saw Derailed?

Yeah, I saw that too, Hoodwink, but I had to leave it alone because of the potential firstie implications. In Nathan's defense, I only notice these things because I am a terrible, terrible typist (like Horsefellow bad), and I have to proofread my stuff like a motherfucker.

wow
She because obsessed when she someone eat it.

Dude, Recount was awesome for how much war paint they put on Laura Dern alone. Add in Tom Wilkinson as Satan/Jim Baker, and it's a damn fine film.

Second on The Comeback. Lisa Kudrow is an underrated comedienne.

Agreed - especially after the set-up of seeing the Campbell household so nice and tidy. Peggy is much more comfortable with a slightly messy appearance.

I don't know. It's no Tom Delay.

Oh, Frito. Always 'batin.

Does no one remember "I was born to love you/ I was born to lick your face…"? The man's been playing piano for years!

I thought it fit right in with Dennis' overall narcissism and belief that he is pretty in anything, no matter what. Shades of when he modeled that horrible dress for Fatty McGoo because none of the models he saw were hot (read: cartoonishly proportioned) enough for his liking.

Yeah, I thought the "sleeve of Chips Ahoy" was pretty seamless tonight. It seemed like something Dee and Charlie would say to each other, so I had no problem with it.
