Agreed! I just saw him last night for the first time and he was great.

THE VICELORDS
…is maybe the best song on "Let It Beard." Prepare thyselves for rock. I also like the sweet pop of "Tabby and Lucy." Good times, y'all.

Sweet interview
I am way excited for this show.

There goes today.
I can not deal.

Yeah, when this episode originally aired, Dan Cortese was very cool to a certain segment of people. People we today would call "bros" - he's kind of making fun of that image here. But compared to neurotic, chubby George, he was a totally rad dude.

@wolfmansrazor: I saw McCartney last summer at a huge arena show, and you better believe people were chowing on footlong hotdogs and beefy-cheesy nachos. We didn't get a lecture on animal cruelty, either. But maybe he used to do those things, goodness knows he could ban meat sales at his shows and venue owners would

Those eyes are the worst/best part. Each "Magic Puppy" story tells of a girl who runs across a cute puppy with beautiful "midnight blue" eyes. The puppy helps her with whatever little-girl prob she's having, but then has to run away home to his "magical kingdom" in, like, another dimension.

Sweet Jesus, have you seen the "Magic Puppy" books? They're insanely popular:

er, got "mad," not made.

I saw her live earlier this year and she absolutely killed. Destroyed. Some of the most horrifyingly vulgar, mean, disgusting shit came out of her mouth and it was hilarious. I actually screamed at one point because I couldn't believe what she was saying — and I'm not easily offended.

Wow.
My curiosity got the better of me and I watched the video for "Crazy Bitch." It's the cheapest, lamest, ugliest piece of crap I've seen in ages. The scene: The four rockin' dudes in Buckcherry are in jail, watched over by a Hot (female) Cop. Sexy hijinks ensue! There's actual scenes of them getting their mugshots

Ouch
"Conversation 16" and "Afraid of Everyone" are kicks in the gut.

I'll have my head in the oven
So you know where I'll be

Boom: "How Long" by Out Hud.

Um…
I kinda like the first song Linds dances to in the stripper clip. No idea who it is, though. Anyone?

Also:

@littlealex: Dang, I was about to suggest La Mia Pizza at 23rd and 8th. There's a movie theater right there, too. I pretty much survived on their slices for a few months, but I feel like it was a dream — no one remembers it. It was delightful, though.

UK/Ireland/L.A.
I visited Bar Italia (Pulp!) while in London about 10 years ago. I remember being very intimidated and leaving quickly.

JOHN BELLAIRS! "The Lamp from the Warlock's Tomb" was always my favorite.
