Fuck this fucker in his fucking stupid fucking face.

Jeez, what a disappointment Local Business was compared to what came before it. The Monitor is one of my favorite albums, but I had completely blocked its followup out of my memory.

It makes it more interesting if he's an anti-hero. He's a drug fueled, unlikable asshole the entire movie. No reason to ruin it by having him shoehorn in some sappy confession at the end. I like to think he went into that courtroom, stuck to the plan (lied his ass off, which would have been consistent with his

If you end Flight right before Denzel enters the courtroom for the final scene, the entire tenor of that film changes (for the better).

Ted fucking Mosby! Ted straight up sucks.

Sega Master System. I have yet to meet another Southerner that grew up on Wonder Boy, After Burner, Ghost House and Sega's superior version of Double Dragon. While all my friends were memorizing the Contra code and Mario's hidden secrets, I was building levels in Penguin Land non-the-wiser.

Really stretching the meaning of the word "fame" there.

No way I can look at this site at work anymore with all of the HUGE ASS PICTURES of TV shows and the like blaring to my office that I'm off task. Bummer.

I have two Lou Reed memories:

I was at that Raleigh show, and it was amazing.  Probably one of my top 5 concert experiences.  I even bought the "bootleg" of it off their website and still listen to it occasionally.

I can't believe this is so far down thread.  This was the first thing that popped in my head (maybe it's because I grew up in NC.).  Aunt Bea's home cooking, you get to ride in a police car, and your dad sits in with a mean bluegrass band.

I can't believe there's no Gateway to Geekery for Bowie.  I love Ziggy Stardust, but have no idea where to go from there.  That one song from Inglorious Bastards was good.

True conservatives can't spell!

I also thoroughly enjoyed the first one.  Given I had about 6 beers before going in and couple more from the concession stand. Everyone I was with was also properly wasted. Plus, we had the theater to ourselves.  Fun was had by all.  I couldn't imagine watching this sober though.
