Fun fact: just like this show, Poe's works often had massive, gaping plot holes and featured protagonists that appeared to have suffered from botched frontal lobotomies. 
Another Fun Fact: Like Armond White, Poe was a huge fan of Brian De Palma.

But I was referring to the actual character Chevy Pierce, who clearly had nothing to do in this episode.

So, I waited several days and watched it again (I thought it would make it easier to be subjective) Some random thoughts:

What is it about that glice sketch? I've watched it three times now (it was so glice I watched it thrice) and its still funny despite the fact that it's repetitive, moronic, and uninspired. Its weird, manic energy reminds me of those Chris Farley sketches where he'd just scream and break shit for 5 minutes.
