Hooch is Crazy

So far (I've just finished season 3), I like Christopher the best out of him, Luke, and Max. He just seems to fit in with the girls the most. Like, every time he comes in he just falls right into step with their patter in ways that Max never does and Luke so far has only done begrudgingly.

You kind of botched it, seeing as that's not the exact transcription of the line, and therefore just seems like a fairly popular phrase of 'don't go swimming for an hour after you eat.'

Mmmm…nah

The first time I saw the finale, when they were talking about Buffy's crazy plan, but not telling us what it was, I thought it was going to be her and Faith go down and fight until they die, which would turn one of the other girls into a Slayer, and then she goes and fights until she dies, creating another, and so on

Nah

There's no way you watched this episode.

Not a cookie bar.

That and all of the bleeps made one of the girls I was watching with say, "Man, they really pull it all out after 10 PM, huh?"

Is the TV Club here going to do anything with the pilots?

And it's the season 1 finale where he has a small feud with Jeff Rosso, the guidance counselor at William McKinley High. Not the Glee William McKinley High, though.

@avclub-e1e84d33778737c0a16ede94d51f3752:disqus So Luke gets married to someone other than Lorelai at some point in the show…ok…great… thanks…

I'm having trouble staying to simply two a week! Let's do one a day, instead.

Or 30 Rock did for Tracy Morgan, and it will do for John Mulaney what 30 Rock did for Tina Fey, and do for Martin Short what 30 Rock did for Alec Baldwin. Damn, I'm excited for this show.

Yes I'm definitely not a Soul Coughing fan. The music feels like it's trying too hard to be different while ignoring actual quality.

He actually sings a duet with Dave Matthews on Haughty Melodic - "Tremendous Brunettes".

Agreed. I said it above, too. I'm a huge fan of Doughty, he is very affable in concert, and his music has only gotten better since Soul Coughing, which I didn't enjoy anything from, really.

I'm actually a huge fan of his solo music. Haughty Melodic is a very well-crafted album, and I would call most of his stuff pretty non-generic. Besides that, he's a great guy. Also, Soul Coughing really did suck.

Oh, I actually had no idea that the joke was that old. It didn't feel that old. But it being from 4 seasons ago actually does make it much more understandable.

I don't think so, it was a night in 2013 that he just sat there alone, feeling bad that he didn't have anyone to be with when all his other friends did, and looking back on it, he knew he was meeting his wife in 45 days.

I didn't like the structure of this one until the end. But then I did. Just one problem… If the drink argument was just a memory from five years ago, then why did Lily mention Marshall's dancer's hip? He didn't have it five years ago.
