It was Horses, but yes it ruled. I thought I imagined this thing, but it did happen and it was awesome.

Though I prefer my chick songstresses on the rougher side, MacLachlan's timbre and the glottal crack that she produces is so great for film.

Sweet Hereafter
Sarah Polley's haunting cover of Courage blows me away. The Tragically Hip's original is playing when Polley's character and her dad are headed over to the deposition and it also makes me gulp. This is one of the great soundtracks of all time and my personal favorite Egoyan film.

Kelly's Heroes is terrific, but Donald Sutherland owns in that one, not Eastwood. Just catchin' some rays. Eatin' some cheese.

The worst cop is definitely Freckles, at least when it comes to the acting. She no make-a too good with the emoting and-a the line reading. I actively root for her to die.
