Matthew Sweet is one talented guy.  Girlfriend was an incredible album (although I've always preferred his followup, Altered Beast), but all of his stuff has been fantastic, gorgeous, lush pop in the vein of Brian Wilson.  Plus, he grew up in my hometown, so I've always had a special place in my heart for his music.
