I hope it's not as well.  I keep thinking back to the exchange between River and Rory before the Battle of Demons' Run.  She's obviously thrilled to see him, even though he doesn't know who she is yet.  We're supposed to buy that the guy who guarded his wife for 3000 years just gives up on their daughter?  Excuse my

I think that crying is his forte. He was similarly brilliant at it a few episodes ago- "My whole brain is crying!"

That could easily be the greatest jump cut of all time.

Solid A material
I am positive that I didn't catch every one liner tonight. I'm excited to watch it again and see what I missed.

If I may suggest
a recast, with Jon Hamm and Nathan Fillion. For some reason, I would really like to see those two work together. Also, they're both hilarious but have never been in a comedy.

Rachel's Dads
need to be introduced. I am dying to see who the show will get for them, and since they've already gotten Idina Menzel for her mother, you know they'll be great.

Would that be night cheese by any chance? Do you sing the song while you eat it?

Almost a return to form.
I agree that tonight was almost perfect. I kind of wish they had done more with the disconnect between Jim and Pam, but I'm in a bad mood so I don't want anybody to be happy or in love right now. It probably won't bother me as much if I watch the episode again tomorrow.

Next Week
brings us Fred Willard and Swoozie Kurtz. I am so pumped.

After Passover
Manischevitz has become the stuff of nightmares. Jewy, jewy nightmares. This sounds revolting.

Even fake death panels
are a better use of panels than The Marriage Ref.

Lee Pace and Judy Greer
are too good for this shit.

Emily's comments
I think the people you were speaking about had lived under a rock. I'm 20, and I know that it goes "Clap on! Clap off! Clap on clap off! The Clapper!" (and then somebody makes a dirty joke). I am also well aware of the sound of a dinky camera flash. Might be because I've been a photography nerd

I am deeply torn about Black Death at a Funeral. The original is almost perfect, and I see no obvious ways to improve it. On the other hand, James Marsden has Alan Tudyk's role, and while Tudyk was great, I will pay more to see Marsden naked.

That was actually right when I tuned in, and I found it hilarious if completely weird. But it didn't seem too out of character for him, so I felt like an explanation was not that important.

I hope you describe him like that to his face. And to other people. "Is my husband here yet? He looks like a cross between Dwight from the Office and Frodo Baggins."

Keeping the ladies happy.
While it may not have been the best episode of Chuck, it did boost Zachary Levi to the top of my Celebrity Exemption List. Seriously, between the glasses and the towel, it was a good, good night.

Just as funny the morning after.

Oprah's Book Club
I'm with Albert. If Oprah endorses it, I ain't reading it.
