I grew up on TNG without seeing any of TOS until very recently, and I never had any real issues. The original movies may be fun to watch for you though. they hold up well as standalone introductions to characters and universe (VI specifically has the Khitomer Conference which is really good background for TNG)

Isn't there already a Bottom in Midsummer Night's Dream?

There should be a Q episode (Deja Q?) and a Borg episode (Gotta be Best of Both Worlds), pointless to introduce somebody to TNG without doing that

I'm interested in re-reading all of TNG as if the alien conspiracy was successful between seasons 1 and 2

yeah, i'm pretty sure it was mike clearing the afternoon as it were for gus. . . there's no way jesse has enough leverage to set up a meeting

B+? donna i love your HIMYM reviews without exception but this is a superlative hour of television. seriously. just adding my voice to the chorus here, this episode was exceptional. Cranston was at the top of his game even when he was out of focus, the tension was masterful. . . every scene with Gus. . . I don't know

George Lucas in the 70's is George Lucas. George Lucas now is a caricature of Michael Bay

I honestly can't believe we are still Rickrolling in 2011. I'm not complaining, but it's almost beyond cliche now

We can make Breaking Out, Breaking Up, Breaking Through, there are so many prepositions left you guys

After reviewing the scene, it does indeed say "Ready to talk?" Geordi regrets the error.

realizing that i'm late to the party here. . . Didn't Mike mis-translate the message on the lid? I thought it said "ready to play?" or "ready to participate?"

They didn't ask her about The Kid, why didn't they ask her about Disney's The Kid?

What I want to know is, where can I get one of those ETA shirts?

see, i liked it cause of the math

Frakes Day
Happy birthday to Jon Frakes! Drinks on me, i've emptied my savings account.

Very British
DR is trying to bat for the cycle of british genres. . . from fantasy, to period piece; now he just needs obscure philosophical comedy and american romantic comedy.

"The Other Two Best Shows on TV"
Putting the Walking Dead in the same league as Breaking Bad and Mad Men is just a terrible mistake. Wrong. Sorry.

yeah i suppose if we're counting cameos then the Expendables is right up there with my least favorites. . . worthless movie.

Yes I wish I could describe the fake interview to my friends in a way that would seem funny out of context, because I laughed out loud.

Favorite: Pulp Fiction
