Very true. I always reconcile with it by telling myself it is 'coffee-flavoured hot beverage' rather than actual coffee. Sometimes you just have to get what's available.

I was born in 1971, so I always loved the reference to the National Fitness Program and being caught in an eternal flexed arm hang. Absolute pure Canadiana.

DREAM ON

Not for the Illuminati.

Eric?

"Harrison Ford would apparently rather be doing basically anything
besides reprising another of his famous roles for a profit-driven,
decades-late sequel."

Part Time

jeux…sans FRONT-ières

It's an effort to remain humble, but we're pretty proud of it.

Oh God, I forgot about burnt toast (*shudder*)

Favourite heritage minute moment? I vote for Super-mountie Sam Steele disarming the American desperado through sheer force of will and overwhelming moral authority. Second place would go to the jig music that kicks in when the Irish orphans are told they can keep their names.

Go bears!

Actually, historian. But I did drive the monorail for a short time.

Hey! I resent that!

WITNESS!!!!

SYRIO LIVES!!!!

I walked out of the room after Shireen died. The one-two punch of that happening after enduring the Sansa scene was enough for me. I hate-watched the last episode, and I was completely emotionally detached from the big reveal. I'm sure I will be back this year, but that's as close as I've come to completely giving up

"The A-Team series with their endless shoot-outs were never anyone gets hit comes to mind."

I don't know, I…just don't know.

So, once again, in case you forgot….Manos, the hands of fate.
