Oh man, I didn't even make the connection between threatening Karen and Matt being willing to kill. That's how poorly that plotline worked for me.

I think the diner scene was trying to push the Matt/Karen dynamic on us that hasn't actually been on-screen this season enough to justify the writer's concern for it and also reassure us that the show wasn't going in the Karen/Frank direction. I personally don't care if Karen hooks up with Frank or not, but I don't…
I think the case was pretty strong against Fisk. Maybe not all the stuff up to it, but he DID escape arrest and had a bunch of mercenaries shoot cops and FBI agents in public. For that alone he's going to jail for a long time, not to mention the other murders he is guilty of, and all the financial stuff. But I imagine…
I thought the Matt/Elektra pairing was interesting but could have been written better, and it eventually got bogged down by ninja stuff and whatever the fuck Black Sky was. But as for Matt's relationships - the ones I care about, that are not passing (Foggy, Claire), it was really painful to watch it happen, and…
I am genuinely surprised to find out that SLJ is a bit of a nerd.
A better finish? You enjoy cliffhangers that might take years (thanks to Marvel scheduling) to resolve? Because I don't. I kind of hate them. They might be the worst thing a TV show can do to me.
He said recently that Foggy Nelson was the only character on the show he didn't like and he hoped he would be killed off soon.
I totally understood where Foggy was coming from, but it didn't make it any fun to watch.
The Nelson and Murdock breakup broke my heart, and I find it especially frustrating because it's the type of plotline that wouldn't get resolved until season 3, which hasn't even been confirmed yet because first they have to shoot the Defenders, then air Luke Cage, Iron Fist, maybe Jessica Jones season 2, and the…
As long as Foggy Nelson shows up in at least one of these shows (other than Daredevil), I will be happy.
No, it's more like, "How many rapists can we have as villains in one show before it's too much?"
Yes because adding more writers to a room of people who have to agree with each other eventually is a great idea.
I suspect she actually CAN fly, but doesn't like it or want to admit to it, and also the showrunners couldn't figure out a way to make her do it and not have it look silly.
Remember when all of those Law and Order episodes used to hinge on threatening criminals with the death penalty?
Foggy's defense strategy is perfectly reasonable - make sure his client gets the best possible results - and Frank torpedoes it twice, first by changing his plea to not guilty at last minute, then by admitting to his guilt on the stand. He also rejects his lawyers' PTSD strategy even though it is the ONLY possible…
I fuckin' love Stick, and Scott Glenn's portrayal is amazing, but the whole Black Sky storyline ruined the second half of the season for me. You can tell even the actor saying the lines can't take it seriously, and that's a problem. It's pretty much all downhill from the moment you see people with katanas.
He's with the stoic, bisexual angels now.
Plus Meechum is not really smart enough to betray the Underwoods. Definitely a stupid move on Seth's part to accuse him. I don't know why Doug didn't just laugh in his face.
No problem. It's not that lucrative unless your story sells very, very well, but if you can turn around 25K stories in a short amount of time, it's work.
Thanks!
