Yeah, the "connectedness" of social media and the "knowledge" of the information age obviously deserve sarcasm quotes. I am more connected if what I do I do (example: watch a TV show) thoughtfully and then can bring the fruits of that thoughtfulness into my experiences with people, even if I didn't talk to those
