Ted Cruz?!
Ted Cruz?!
I once worked across the aisle from a woman who left the country station on all day when this song was at its most popular and I've kind of Stockholm Syndromed myself into liking it, but after reading this crap I think I unabashedly love this song now.
This and "Life Love & Faith" are both vinyl holy grails for me. Love both of these albums so much!
I hear this one quite a bit actually.
Not a fan of Supertramp so much, but I unashamedly like Christopher Cross. Sorry he's not hip & edgy enough for you, but he certainly has talent.
Except all of those bands had talent & could write memorable tunes regardless of their attractiveness.
I like Springsteen quite a bit - but I have always felt like I'll never see in him the level of genius that some of his biggest fans see.
I remember when this song was just bad.
Interesting that this is being described as a comedy, since she's not funny.
Hader & Forte are talented. Wiig is too, though she's yet to wow me in anything. But Armisen & Samberg are emblematic of the downfall of that show into a jokeless borefest.
The idea that Cameron Esposito is a comedian is funnier than anything I've ever seen her say.
Yeah, well, that's just like your opinion, man
Or maybe they just thought they'd sound better with drums?
So someone got their fee-fees hurt when a rock star thought they were an assistant instead of a writer and you're comparing this to the CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT?!
I'm really going to miss Letterman's musical guests.
Pretty sure Sam did this so he'd have another excuse to write about this band no one has given a shit about since 1996.
"An even weirder slew of one-hit wonders sprouted on modern rock radio,
especially at the tail-end of the ’90s and into 2000: Marcy Playground’s
“Sex And Candy,” Chumbawamba’s “Tubthumping,” Wheatus’ “Teenage
Dirtbag,” Len’s “Steal My Sunshine,” Bran Van 3000’s “Drinking In L.A.,”
Marvelous 3’s “Freak Of The Week,”…
My favorite is how the Chick Fil A CEO got skewered for having the wrong opinion on gay marriage, yet Whole Foods gets a pass for coming out against health care reform.
Hoping YTW season 1 is coming to Hulu soon.
