Not the best episode, but loved the scene where Olivia explains why in her mind she wasn't a hero. I wonder if Peter's plan will come up again?

Nope - producers revealed that last season. It was William Bell (his nanites had the X on them). Lame I know.

I agree it was not there best "case" but it did serve a purpose, even if it wasn't entertaining. The disease prevented them from retrieving the rocks themselves and as Noel said having Erwin sacrifice himself illustrated the parent/child relationships at the heart of Fringe.

Enjoyed her new hair pull out of frustration with Etta though. She is really selling how awkward and frustrating this relationship is. Dawned on me just why it's so hard for parents to sometimes accept when their child knows more than them.

I am really hoping they bring back Ella and her mom, or at least mention them, too. I always hated how they disappeared, when they were a pretty integral part of who Olivia was in season 1. But since in this timeline, she barely knows her sister or at least didn't, maybe not. I'll just have to hope that Nina says…

I thought Subject 13 was the worst - Walter apparently gets to Brooklyn on his own. I used to tell myself they were taking helicopters or private jets, but now I can't even do that.

Did not notice - but this is awesome. Agree with Michelle, could just be a quirky observation, that we don't remember things the same. Or as you said that the sources are unreliable. Excited to find out!

I will never understand how they travel back and forth between New York and Boston like it's nbd.

My bad - I meant August. Confused with the episode One Night in October.

It's tough to accept that they didn't all sit down immediately and figure out what happened, but they're playing it as an extremely awkward and sensitive situation, so we wait…
