Fatface Rick to Stringer Bell in The Wire: "You harder to get at than my fat wife's cunt, nigga!"

That's pretty gratifying to hear. I totally fucked up and missed the KC show, which is why I had to drive all the way to STL to see them. I had to laugh when I showed up at the merch table early on; they were selling posters from the KC show.

I missed the last Sleigh Bells show in KC to see Swans in STL (the obvious, correct decision; I have no regrets) and told myself I wouldn't miss their next one. Disappointed to see they're not coming through this time. The show for the first album was fantastic; obviously short, but 40 minutes of wall-to-wall noise

Simpsons was a staple of my childhood. I don't know what's up with the rest of you.

So, read some great books, also read THE GREATEST BOOK.

Oh wow, I've passed that place a million times during First Fridays. Guess I know what I'm doing next Friday…

This might be the funniest comment I've ever read.

Repulsion is one of the best-looking, moodiest B&W horror films ever. Maybe the best.

"Francis Ford Coppola—director of The Godfather, Apocalypse Now, and The Outsiders" reads like "Steven Spielberg—director of Jaws, Schindler's List, and 1941." You forgot something!

According to Drew McWeeny on HitFix, the princesses are prostituted to rich Asian businessmen. So you're in the clear!

Fuck yes. His other opuses are unadaptable, but M&D would kill.

Glad somebody finally mentioned Heartthrob. Was briefly obsessed with that album.

That's not his daughter, it's his wife.

Well, that was incoherent.

Not to plug my own blog but I wrote about this more extensively here, since I'm too lazy right

Serious about youthful hedonism being necessary, awesome, and eventually (and regrettably) fleeting.
