What's so civil about Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies anyway?

Probably my favorite Sam the Eagle line ever.

Confirmed bachelor?

I want to say that I really treasure these recaps. Thanks, @ErikAdams:disqus!

I agree. It had complete resonance with this kid.

I think the Steve Martin episode is my favorite of all time, although the Christopher Reeve and Star Wars episodes held quite a bit of cachet with me at the time.

I'm in.

@avclub-9fd15d31837278f41e39da273fc7ef0b:disqus , Dr. Teet brings to mind a very different childhood experience.

Puppets who have their own puppets = Comedy gold.

Would you like to smell the bottlecap?

Agreed. It's the first post-Henson Muppet movie that didn't make me want to punch. They were smart to make Gonzo the main character, since the original performer, Dave Goelz, is/was still alive and therefore not jarring.

I have a feeling he's only doing it for the mascara.

When I was a kid, I really wanted to trade my mom for Judy Collins. She just always had that air about her, plus she could sing me to sleep any time.

Stuff I learned as I looked up each Muppet Show host's Wikipedia page: Nancy Walker's sole directing credit was Can't Stop The Music, the Village People movie.

Agreed that the clowns fit perfectly with the Sinatra version.

"This is glue. Strong stuff."

Is this version still available? I looked a the recent Blu-Ray release and didn't see the extras you mention.

Ike gets a lifetime (MUSICAL) pass for the fact that he wrote and was the guitar player on "Rocket 88," which is a great fucking song.

That's great and all, but what of his pipe?

"Well, go on! Get!"
