If all you're interested in is a positive outlook on the show, it seems somewhat unnecessary to read reviews of episodes.

I subscribe to the Myles McNutt school of thought with Weeds - the legitimate effort to engage with the consequences of Nancy's choices throughout the season made for a legitimately good year. The two seasons that followed what would have been a respectable conclusion are better left unmentioned.

I agree, though it falls apart fast starting in season 6.

Normally I have a hard time quitting shows (I still watch Californication, for christ's sake), but that last Dexter season was something I actually had to *force* myself to slog through because I insisted on seeing how it ended.

It's a shame it's been so terrible this season and the previous one, since seasons 20-22 were actually consistently decent. Then again, I had drifted away by about season 12 and didn't come back and catch up until season 20, so I guess I already hit my quitting point and then somehow relapsed.

DAVID SCHWIMMER GOTTA EAT

The only way it would've been acceptable is if she just floated up, up, up and out of the series entirely, off to better roles.

Yep, if they want to coast on bickering about manners and appropriate dinner wear, I'm perfectly happy with that (in fact, I think my favourite moment in the series might be the Dowager Countess "mistaking" Lord Grantham for a waiter).

I think the show has tended to falter when it tries to go for the bigger dramatic moments, so I'm content if it wants to wallow around in this sort of mostly pleasant, mostly inconsequential mode.

It's actually "Your writing is well."

I think it'll be PB who cuts the arm off when they're done transitioning her to full villain.

It's certainly not elegantly handled here, given that the review opens with it and dedicates a third of the rather brief analysis to that subject alone. I'm not suggesting the reference here is beyond criticism, but I'm not sure that a decision initially announced to the public through a Rolling Stone interview is

I look forward to the system glitches where they have to apologize for drone delivering someone a gallon of milk every five minutes for a week.

I think in this case, because of the highly public nature of the change and the fact that the album title seems intended to at least partially address that process, it's relevant enough to justify making reference to the past identity. There's also a arguable utility in indicating to readers that the band hasn't

Which is perfectly believable given her personality and the rules she has to live by, but if that's all they have for her to do it shouldn't be so frequently emphasized.

I'd certainly like to see her get to play a note other than bitter jealousy.

That's obvious, but I can't wait to find out whether or not he does it with or without gloves on.

I hope they bring it back, but I also don't think I'd miss it much at all if they didn't.

Better a 2-for-1 deal, since anyone who would bring up Avatar to their veterinarian should not reproduce.

It really didn't fit together properly. I half wonder if it was three weak episodes edited down to two, if next week will stick with the California stuff.
