It's been my observation that Bones' lack of knowledge of something lasts until she hears about it and can lord some arcane knowledge over someone else.
Witness: "We were on the subway"
Bones: "I don't know what that is."
Witness: "You know, the train that goes under the ground."
Bones: "OHHHHH. You meant the

This is the real problem with zombie fiction. You take ten people and make them into vampires and you've to ten different vampires. Take a hundred or even a thousand people and make them zombies and there's no difference between them. Zombieism is by definition loss of personality.

Thank you and please tell me if there is a workaround where I can upvote you 10 times. I've never yelled "Shut up!" at my TV more than during this season of Bones.

Zack says he watches Sleepy Hollow but not Bones, while I watch Bones but not SH, so I guess I have the same right to comment as he does. B-, are you kidding me? Bones (the series) has ground down to (at best) a Gentlemen's C while Bones (the character) has reached the nadir of TV's asshole-savant category. This

I don't think they had any other solution in those days. For me it was when Nielsen snapped his finger to tell Ford what the chances were of getting his son back. You can pay and lose him, or refuse and lose him or get him back either way. So cynical, but true.

Please take out the lousy Mel Gibson "Ransom" and put in the much better Glenn Ford original "Ransom!". Gibson could not make a movie admitting that parents are helpless in such situations and must therefore go after the kidnappers themselves. In Ford's movie the father fights back with the only weapon he has, the

It was a simpler time, when only opposites could solve crimes - like Tex and Mex, or Wheels and the Legman.

Parenthood was never a good show but it got increasingly awful, especially as Max became the focus. Instead of preparing him for the real world, he parents taught him that the real world will tie itself in knots to accommodate him. When they took the Skittles machine out of school she could have just put a bag in

The problem with The Ladykillers is the tendency of movie makers to look up and say "There's Mt Everest - let's remake that." There's no where to go but down.

The real bad writing is not that the adorable child is allowed to run loose - I mean check out The Bad Seed for how much a kid can get away with. But that the kid is still listening to Drill. Sure, BEFORE she nearly killed her mom but now she knows that she's being asked to do bad things.

And 50 First Dates is not a comedy. It is a horror movie about a woman who wakes up pregnant day after day with no idea of how that happened. Held captive by a man who expects her to fall in love with him by lunch so they can have sex after dinner and then do that over and over again. She's expected to fall in love

Little Joe!

Why did the review not mention that the "Arcade" episode has just been made into a major motion picture that probably cost hundreds of millions to make and won't be half as good as the Futurama bit. Also it stars Ben Stiller so that makes it worse.

#1 - Many decades ago a comedian (I forget which one) had a bit about being told by a doctor that they've done all they can do and now it's up to (looks up reverently). To which the patient (or relative) says "So when the bill comes do I pay you or (looks up reverently)"
#2 - great moment in a underground comix. A

Still, I'd don't want to be "That Guy".

Fifteen years is not a long time. Horse is a slang term for heroin going back further than that. Both start with "H" and it's a common usage in slang to use terms that way (i.e. "The Big Casino" for cancer)

She's already a sociopath, so I think she'll be okay with it.

Sorry but her plans were for herself (and only tangentially for her husband). True she didn't know what would happen to her son but she still went ahead with it, went "the extra mile" for herself not him, and was prepared to let him get caught as long as he blamed the Soviets. This last one was clearer in the book.

Was that him in the catacombs beneath the opera house?

Maybe there were two logs - father and son
