Only on the TGW are you going to have a guy stripping down in a lift next to a posh dressed lawyer - "do you have hot water" - priceless. Ah the level of detailed character work on this show. These writers are so good.

I hear you. I loved it, it was a really lovely moment. They're good together.
Love love the walk out. Love the way she talks to Taye Digg's character. Eloquent, calm, persuasive - I want to be Diane.
Brill review by the way. Thank you Sonia.
Lovely Finn Polmar and Alicia: no. Just no. Absolutely categorically NO.
Awwww, they hugged. That was really moving - and of course they are going to tear each other to shreds again soon.
Yes agreed. Nipple slicing bad.
Ok, it's official: I'm too old for this stuff.

Thank you. Brilliant point. His father is loathsome.
Oh right then, it's not just me then. I thought it looked really, well, make-up-counter-sales-person-like: i.e. heavy. It really ages her. And she's a beautiful woman. I wonder if they're rushing through so many scenes in a day that they don't have time to freshen up the make-up more professionally.
The thinnification of Julianna Margulies… who was quite slim to start with. I understand the tremendous pressure actresses are under but it's still really depressing to watch. And I'd like to empathise that I really like JM so this is no attack on her. Just a depressing observation.
Urgh. No. And I like Matthew Goode. What is this obsession with wanting people to hook up? I'm old.
Sonia, excellent review as always.
And aren't we all grateful that Matt Czuchry finally has something to do… he had more scenes in this episode than in the entire last season - not the writers' fault necessarily because the show is overrun with brilliant supporting characters/actors.
After the dearth of good shows over the summer it's just glorious to have quality television back. And Christ, the bench is deep on this show. Don't know where to start: Diane, David Lee, Eli, Kalinda, Robin, Eli's daughter, Lemond Bishop, the police guy dealing with Cary: not a single dud character. Including…
I hear you sister
Thank God it's back and as excellent as ever. And Dear God, poor Cary. Holy F*ck.
Good point.
