I found out that a couple of months ago, the firm I left up in the PacNW in took a meat cleaver to my former department. 8 months ago, it had 3.5 people (my assistant was shared with Marketing). I left, they didn't rehire (that, I knew). 6 months after that, they laid off my assistant (10 years with the firm) and

Okay, AV Club, I've tried to play nice and not install an adblocker on my new browser, but between the guy with the weird eyes and the fugly centipede, you'd not making it easy. And then there's the DUAL AUTOPLAY videos on all of the pages. STOPPIT.

You mean they don't quadruple the number of answer cards referencing menstruation? Because they totally need to quadruple the number of answer cards referencing menstruation.

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

My geek pushed me to see Wonder Woman today. Really good depiction of Diana, good movie generally. I had seen some criticisms of the movie that I don't disagree with, but didn't get in the way of the film. Nothing was truly surprising, plot-wise. I liked it, but I'm not sure how memorable it will be for me,

Once you're off the antibiotics - Align Chewables. Pricey, but justified.

I collect postcards and like to send them out for no good reason. Want one?

Sadly, it was de rigeur for a certain time period. I mean, Fred Astaire AND Judy Garland did a blackface scene in a movie — and I think Garland was still a teen at the time. Yeah. Upon the Kinjaning, I will probably revive my actual Disqus acc't, so I'll be able to access said Avocado.

I'm back, baby!

Dang. Hope you get better soon. And stay better!

I don't have much of a dog in this fight. However, I will tell a tale out of school. A friend of mine had a minor role in the movie and he ended up quite frustrated with the production, because, in part, of the length of the shoots and how it impacted conditions on the set. Supposedly, someone actually fainted from

Stylish, smylish.

So, I've been watching the show for the past few weeks, and while I want to see the end, I think I need to skip the middle, because it's not even fun drama, it's just down and dirty drama. And if I'm going to watch down and dirty drama, I might as well watch TNT and something like Claws.

I think King is horrible at sticking the ending. Mind you, there is a lot I haven't read (Carrie, The Shining, Pet Semetary, The Stand), but The Dead Zone is the only King (or Bachman) novel where I haven't wanted to throw the book at the wall after finishing it.

"Something About You" - Level 42. And don't talk to me about "Lessons in Love". It's all about "Something About You".

Kevin & Bean on KROQ. With Adam Corolla as Mr. Bircham, the shop teacher. And Tad the Intern.
