I was going to watch, but it had already started when I was scrolling through the Tivo guide - and given how much I've heard about it, I want to watch it from the beginning.

So, did anyone notice that the earth shifted its axis last night? It did. And I have proof, even if you didn't feel it: TCM played Gymkata.

So ridiculous.

For whatever reason, I'm not feeling (or seeing) romantic chemistry between Chidi and Eleanor. I see more with Chidi and Tahani, but I'm willing to wait to pull the trigger.

And Molly being so cruel to Sherlock, repeating John's exact words. Jesus, girl.

I can see the headline now …

That's an odd bit of synergy, but I'll check it out. Thanks.

Nuh-uh! He's "Oh, that cop from Leverage …"

I haven't read Catcher in the Rye, so I have no idea if it's crappy or not.

And risk summoning Dramatic Actor Jim Carrey? Perish the thought!

It was the 80s. People took shrooms on the weekends and cocaine to wake up on Monday mornings. It's a different time, is what I'm saying.

Dang it! Did I miss the window?

At my last job, one of the summer associates including the term FOMO in his 'welcome to the firm' bio. It was hard not to laugh in public, because if I ever had it, I'm certainly over it now.

I thought it was a Gen-X thing.

Double amen. I learned this when a crush object loaned me a copy of the last Anne Rice novel I ever plan to read - the moment I finished it, I wanted those hours of my life spent reading it refunded to me.

Cool! Do you hew to a particular subgenre?

*hug* I (and I'm sure, others) wish you well.

I have several, although they're more guidelines/challenges than resolutions:

The Wizard of Oz terrified me as a child from near-beginning to near-end. Nightmares for 3 days and a suspicion of 'kid's movies' thereafter. That I love the Wicked novels still surprises me.

Wasn't that basically the Kubrick version of A.I.? I also remember some plot bunnies being spun to life in a Newswire about Small Wonder, maybe?
