Pun unintended?

You have my likes, and my axe.

How come he hasn't fended off sharknados or piranha yet?

He kinda looks like a very happy young Chris Cornell, which makes me utterly gleeful.

5-day weekend (4 of them in Portland, amid sci-fi and steampunk geeks) was nice, despite allergies.

Holy cow. Glad they caught it (whatever it is) in time.

Numfar! Do the dance of joy!

I watched this last night and I found it just adorable.

I haven't tried watching Match Game since the original ended - but this write-up seems encouraging, and there isn't much else on TV right now that makes me laugh …

I have a small book with just a few of his short stories. Wicked and twisted. I believe it was called Skin and Other Stories.

Maybe an interstitial crawl explaining the weather/viewing issues and that the footage is a mix of this year's and past year's fireworks? No? Oh well.

Up until "Shake It Off", I had not heard a single Taylor Swift song all the way through.

It's not seen much chart success, but it's probably the song she performs most, between TV and festival appearances, and it's been used in commercials and TV episodes. If someone has heard a Monae song, it's much more likely to be "Tightrope" than "Sincerely, Jane" or "Violet Stars Happy Hunting!"

That's what Malia's doing for her gap year? Awesome, I approve.

Hand-pies are making a slow comeback, but honestly, I prefer them over pot pies. Too much gravy in the latter, not as portable.

It's the Return of Will Harris!!

YAY!!!

There are Regals here in Seattle - at least one.

Well, I only went to two movies last year, and one of them was in a Sundance Cinema (it was Crimson Peak). If I were going to the movies every other week … yeah, that would be painful.
