Are you sure you're not talking about Spartacus: Gods of the Arena?

Thank you, I.V.! That was spiffy! Spiffitudenous, even!

It's very All in the Family in terms of its direct approach to hot-button topics, but I mean … just the multi-cam format feels to me like something out of the 90s.

I discovered that a dress I bought on one of those custom order sites not only fits me well, but has pockets! I was thrilled!

Actually, you'd be surprised how much women's clothing is made without pockets. Moreso, there's tons of women's clothing that's made with faux pockets. I have to remind myself when I'm shopping for work pants to tactilely check for pockets.

So, The Carmichael Show. I watched last week's ep, the Cosby ep from tonight and part of the one about Joe's father dying. It's an interesting show, but to me, it feels like a throwback to something earlier. I admire it for being topical, I'm happy to see David Allen Grier and Loretta Devine get work … but I didn't

Surprised to see Hercules and Megara walk off into Olympus already. Also surprised that Hades really want these interlopers hanging around, even if they're dead.

It helped that I rewatched Logan's Run just last weekend.

Carousel!

I don't remember. I vaguely remember the spin-off ep that brought Addison from Seattle Grace to L.A. but not all of the details.

I had some pop culture this weekend! Woo hoo!

Beast sounds like my wheelhouse. Thanks for the write-up.

This. Abbie has a history being direct, brave, quick-thinking and with a sense of humour and loyalty that was enjoyable to watch, informed her character without making her perfect or boring, and contrasted nicely with fish-out-of-water Crane. That Abbie would have relationship issues is no surprise (all of her family

That Renard poster made me laugh. However, the rest of the ep was pretty cool. And Adalind's anguish over regaining her powers (and becoming bad again) … that was pretty well done. Looking forward to how the rest of the season unfolds.

If I have only one thing to thank Shonda Rimes for, it's for casting Audra in Private Practice and giving her a bit of spotlight outside of Broadway.

Why gross?

Desk Set! The only most famous movie featuring news librarians!

Thank goodness for Sundance Theatres. Hard ciders and hoppy IPAs as far as the eye can see …

The Peter Jackson version felt overlong and tiring when I saw it in on an IMAXish screen long ago. I wanted one hour of my life back. I haven't seen the 70s version completely, so I guess I'll go with the original.
