I've wanted to see this for a while. There was also talk about this being Steampunk/Weird West when it was first released in the US. Thanks for the reminder!

Chicharrón, por favor …

What does Miles Davis' ex-wife have to do with this?*

I think you need to snuff out that idea right now.

That, I can totally picture. With Imelda Stanton as Elizabeth.

A la Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine?

Hey, Pilot!

John Lithgow as Churchill??? I just can't picture it.

I guess I thought this episode was funny enough. The funniest Black-ish can do? No. But there was just enough.

I like to think of it as being an early adopter.

You are an old soul.

So what I'm saying is that Jai Courteney is the Robert Redford of our age.

No. No no. I know people who hated Ep 1 the minute they came out of the theater. I was one of them!

The Frisco Kid!

Stop that! Taylor made a fine, fine Tim Riggins in Friday Night Lights. He seems to be cursed on the big screen, though …

But when will he meet Charles Manson?

But one is never done cleaning! *sigh*

This is more of a food/reading thing …

I made the traditional New Year's Hoppin' John with some untraditional lamb bacon. Messed up the cooking temp, leaving it a bit too dry, but fixed it later with rendered lamb fat, chicken stock and water, then slowly stirring the hoppin' john into it.

I love you, honey … but no. Give me your sun! I'll take it all!
