I may be infatuated with 2 Lebanese bands. Mashrou' Leila is indie rock, mixed with traditional Arabic rhythms and instruments. The Wanton Bishops is a blues rock duo who met in a bar fight in Beirut and just straight out rocks. Also, finally got some Tinariwen (Malian guitar-heavy band) and I see what all the fuss is…

Nothing in Seattle, although the outlying mountains got enough to make the ski/winter sports resorts dance a small jig.

The good news is that I managed another 5K - with the caveat that there's still lung issues (now because of the cold, rather than the allergies).
