I learned a lesson: it's okay to walk out on the last five minutes of a bad movie: there's practically no chance the very end will make things better, and a high degree of probability that it will make things worse.

I was half-kidding, but smoked turkey drippings sound amazing and I can imagine a wonderful gravy arising out of it.

Last night, I went to one of the premium grocery places with an extended deli and picked up lots of sides: chorizo-apple cornbread dressing, cranberry pecan stuffing, green beans with gremolata, roasted Brussels sprouts, mashed taters with parsnips, broccoli steamed with garlic, cranberry relish, turkey gravy.
