I feel ya. Right now, I put stuff down (in terms of stories, the novel, etc.) and just don't pick them back up, because reasons. I can push myself to do short stuff, but there's still the issue of polishing/revising/getting stuff out there.

There are ways to deal with this. What kind of story are you writing and what sort of hell are you willing and able to put your characters through to get them from the beginning to the end?

No … I should be editing more than writing and my month is too scattered to devote the time needed to succeed at NaNo. I have friends who are, though, and I wish them much success.
