What, oh what, would have become of the Iron Sheikh?  How many times have I had this lament…

It's a really well done speech, but I think it's as much the delivery as the cadences.  I can't quite tell if I like that the capper makes me uncomfortable with the questionable morality, or if I dislike it for the same.

I'm sure there's a pretty extensive list available.  Start with "Representatives Boehner keeps from speaking" and their contributors…

Lucky!  Last time I trusted my dormmates when they said, "Wait for it, it totally gets better."  Every fucking time there were green beans in the caf, there'd be several yahoos shoving them in their incisors and then asking if they had something in their teeth.

Just reading that kills.  God, the look on Cleavon Little's face when he delivers that line…

"When the trolls come back… to Capistrano…"

Was that rated R?  I'm pretty sure it wasn't in Canada, at least.

Try watching "Jerry Maguire" with your girlfriend and her folks and her grandmother.  Fun!

It's always tricky to figure out just what actually was and wasn't R when you grew up in Canada - most stuff like "True Lies" and "Speed" were just 14A.  I can't recall if "The Crying Game" was R or not here, either - that was an awkward one to watch with Dad.  I'm pretty sure that "Pulp Fiction" was rated R, though,

She has a new one out now, too - I saw it at the supermarket today.  I didn't notice it at the bookstore, but it had a huge flippin' display next to the frozen foods.

It does sound interesting.  Nice interview!

Silkwood 2: Nuclear Boogaloo

How long have you been around here?  I thought everyone on a post like this enjoyed some bitterness!

"It's so dense…"

Oh, hell… third time's the charm?

Hugs!

The Eleventh Commandment: Thou Shalt Follow Me If You Want To Live

Oh, here it is… I got all excited with the "Prehistory" thread above.  Sorry.

"Shhhh… the maestro is decomposing…"

Larson halted production of them, though they're occasionally brought back for fundraising for causes, if I recall.
