Go Greendale go Greendale go Greendale go

So…what are we guessing for the return date?  If it's earlier, chances are higher for a Wednesday time.  If it's later, it might come back after 30 Rock's done on the pot, which as discussed before, means a late spring to early summer run. I'm not liking either scenario very well, so I'll just hope that Up All Night

Same.  I'm betting on 8,500 being the magic number.

Should Community do another Christmas episode next year?  Could be somewhat tired like paintball by now.  Assuming NBC doesn't mandate a Christmas episode (which they probably do), I'd go for either an over-the-top theme episode or an episode for another holiday (Hannukah).

I think Dan Harmon would go over the fretful edge.  He worries too much about corporate oversight as it is.

Let's push for 8000 episodes and a…8000 comments.

Dan's oddly coy in his response.  Sony's gears could actually be turning about this, especially if they want more content online like one of the comments suggests.  I'd pay $110 for a full season if that meant more online goodies and privileges.

Seminar For Hazardous Materials - Greendale's library is discovered to violate all possible public safety regulations.  Deemed to be too flammable, the Dean decides to lock the doors on Friday and immediately demolish it the next day.  Unfortunately, he did not inform the students over the intercom.  The group is

So the Cape joke aside, six seasons and a movie actually does sound like a good length for this show.  Could even do the movie for showing what happens on graduation day.

It's a double-edged sword.  It forces the writers to be extra creative in how things are presented but some things are inevitably left out sometimes.  I wish the DVDs included more content for that reason.

Sorry, it came out less formatted than I wanted.  I can clean it up once it's available again. Actually, I might have accidentally flagged it while trying to edit it.

I'll be disappointed if the show doesn't get another season but not because Jeff needs to graduate. The real genius of Community lies in how the show deconstructs group
dynamics and yes, wonders about how positive communities can be made despite personal challenges. We've seen stuff like this before but it's never been

Same.

This Monday, someone should order Dan and the writers a cake with "Happy Birthday Jesus:  #sixseasonsandamovie".

"Hat Club!"

Maybe the date will be revised later.  Could be like Y2K.

Something interesting on NBC.com:  some of the episodes you can watch now are available until 9/16/2012.  Unless Outsourced episodes are still on NBC's site, I'm willing to take that as something close to a good sign.
