she was the finest piece of ass I'd ever had

Toots and the Maytals
saw them last year - dude is still kickin' it at 70. Great show.

@sarCCastro - I'm a lapsed Trekkie (I checked out after TNG), and yes, DS9 is absolutely worth watching. The first season is slow but picks up steam in the 2nd and 3rd seasons, then really hits the mark in season 4.

dude put on some weight after "Reunion." I'm kind of partial to Steve-Bushemi-skinny Gowron. Makes the eyes crazier.

Friends started the rediculous apartment trend. The apartments on Seinfeld weren't too crazy - if you remember it's the upper west side (and at least Jerry and Elaine have plenty of money) it isn't too far-fetched

Visitor had the bad luck of starting DS9 when ST was still in it's "huge shoulders is sexy on women!" phase. She was much better served by the later costumes.

"I promise, Nordberg will be back on the force in no time. Unless he's a vegetable, but that's just common sense."

I haven't felt this bad since we saw that Ronald Reagan movie

and Rex Hamilton as Abraham Lincoln!

Also: "Alright, who else in here in almost dead?"

also RIP
Irvin Kirshner, best known for making George Lucas look like a bitch

"People take risks all the time. You take a risk when you get out of bed in the morning, when you cross the street, or when you stick your face in a fan."

West didn't really try for much of a Baltimore accent (although he did throw in a Bawl-mer now and again), but overall his American accent was good enough for government work. No way he could beat Elba though - dude sounded like he was from Yonkers.

here's to all that snatch down in FLA

she needs her own schtick - the Samantha Bee impression isn't doing her any favors

"Why doesn't Conan just have funny jokes in the monologue? I've never been able to figure this out."

I'm going to sing my ooga booga song!

I agree - the Queen Latifah episode was a pretty good bank-shot swipe at Obama with the overblown oration that goes nowhere. Equal-opportunity satire.

@Ryan - yeah, but that's like a buck thirty in Canadian dollar.
