there was some neat NYC history going on in that scene - the restaurant they were eating at was obviously in Greenwich Village (close to Don's place at Waverly and 6th) which up until the 50s and 60s was mostly Italian and was known as a big mob neighborhood.

@FidelAstro - I love watching those guys try to hitch up their pants when they slide down. With baggy jeans they would just give it a tug, now they need to grab two handfuls and JERK them up. It's almost like they need a running start.

I watched the Defector recently too - great ep, made even greater by the fact that the guy who plays the titular Romulan does the VO in Lexus ads!
