What happens in a surveillance state where Trump wins? Good idea, but only when and if The Man is benevolent.

I find it hard to believe he still has female and non-white supporters, but he does.

Innocent until proven guilty is the rule, for everyone, all the time. It's a basic right and it's part of being a liberal society. Another such right involves a person who is tasked with undermining accusers and calling them liars. I don't believe moving away from those rights will solve much.

People often ignore their own good advice. Doesn't make the advice any less good.

Technically, if one could report a crime and chooses not to, one becomes an accessory. I see good points on both sides of this, especially in a situation like Hollywood where so much power is held by so few. But there remains no way to stop a serial abuser until someone comes forward.

"Addressing the problem" by creating new problems is what gets you the enemies.

You forgo that pickup truck and it buys you maybe a year of income. Then what? And you probably still need a pickup truck. So you spend half and get 6 months of savings to live on. Then what? Vacations cost less than pickups, so giving those up has very little effect on a future without income.

FWIW, there was a Max Steel toy line in the 80s, completely unrelated to whatever this is. Max Steel's Robo Force were robots with suction cup bases and arms that would "crush" opponents with pneumatic force. In addition, each one had some sort of hidden gun or special power. The coolest of them squirted water from

Spanakopita!

2Pac, because everything else I like sounds slow and weak after he sets the tone.

I love how Bernie supporters are still considered unreasonable with their need for ideological purity, but try bringing any nuance to feminism and see where that gets you.

As we apply that same explanation to more and more jobs, white collar and services included, it becomes less and less of an explanation. Jobs gone, money gone, people still here. What's the endgame?

I don't understand how Ultimate could be so bad when Spectacular was so good. You're right, they'd be better off just repeating it. Spidey needs to be more than a sidekick to the Guardians.

That's the kind of difference I mean. In presidential elections, third parties' best hope is to turn the result against their major-party counterpart, which is ultimately counterproductive. They would be better off building their power base by focusing on local and congressional elections.

I agree with your main point, but Perot and Nader both made a difference. It's possible that Johnson might do it again.

Green policies and working class interests do not necessarily mix. Case in point: West Virginia. Difficult to reconcile the need for mining with the need to stop mining.

His statements are a way to subvert legitimate rigging arguments from the other side. States run by Republicans (i.e. most of them) have been purging registrations and doing everything they can to limit who can vote and when.

It isn't only guys who condone this behavior, not is it only guys who have a responsibility to stop condoning it. Neither gender is a monolith. The backlash against #notallmen isn't warranted, because stopping the perpetrators necessarily involves identifying them. This isn't a matter of male vs female, it is a

Guys like Trump have always been popular, which is why they keep doing what they're doing. The results they get from this behavior are generally positive. See, the ones who need to be put in their place are the Nice Guys. The real solution to sexual assault is getting all those Nice Guys to back off.

But for some reason, conservatives' estimates still hover around 15 or 20.
