No! They can't cancel it! I can't believe that on NBC they're changing the entire aesthetic and format of "Up All Night" to get people to watch (I figure that the real problem is that diaper changing is NO ONE's idea of escapist entertainment, even if Devon Banks is doing it), while this show just needs to change up

That gave me a bad flashback to the '86 season. Seldom using talented black cast members, then putting them in horribly offensive sketches like this.

I actually like her in the otherwise terrible "Girlfriends" sketch. But I totally agree about the earnestness and not fitting with the tone. I feel like she should be the "sassy, relatable lead" in a good sitcom and not on SNL.

The proof is in the results. Anne Hathaway's most believable role is pretty much "The Princess Diaries." In everything else, she's just so distracting and actress-y. I wish they wouldn't reward people for the "struggle" for the role (though how likely they are to be nominated again should be a factor). If acting

Part of the problem is that they had to dial it down for the children who tuned in because the host is the girl from "The Hunger Games." I think that was the main reason for "Girlfriends" being the first post-monologue sketch.

Oh! And honorable mention to Gerard Depardieu's disturbing rendition of "Thank Heaven for Little Girls" in "My Father, The Hero."

My all time favorite, though there may be classier choices out there, is "Boats and Hoes" from Step Brothers.

I've never heard anyone reference Jean K. Jean, but I actually like that one, it's really silly.

As much Internet hate as Kenan gets, this is one of the only recurring sketches I hear people referencing in the real world.

Really? I feel like in that interview he was so overtly rude and dismissive to them, not even cleverly or subtly. It was unpleasant to watch — Stewart trying to do this '90s smartass comedy thing, and just coming off like as arrogant and unfunny. I thought it was funny that she called him out.

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it, but that backstory for the "Garbo Talks" tagline isn't accurate. The studio was so terrified of how people would react to her voice that they prevented her from doing talkies for two years after their other stars had made the transition to sound. Her career was believed to

The only possible explanation for "Parks & Rec" and "Boardwalk Empire" not being on this list (while "Modern Family" is) is that they were actually made in another country and therefore not eligible  Let the conspiracy theories begin!

Made all the more confusing by the existence of Dean McDermott and Patrick Dempsey (who, despite having a name that doesn't sound exactly like their's, still pretty much looks like a friendly hybrid).

Really sub-par episode, but without any stand-out awful moments. I liked Aidy Bryant's Mrs. Clause bit (they don't use her or Tim Robinson enough), and the Dermot Mulroney/Dylan McDermott gameshow was awesome.
