FYI, shrimp are still on sale at the Crab Crib. XL for $14.50 a pound.

I love Klausner so much that she's ascended into my "People I never want to meet for fear we won't become best friends" category. She's the best interviewer around, even better than Maron, she's an amazing curator of pop culture, and she's an insightful cultural critic.

The painful Harrison Ford interview took away any interview points that Nerdist scored with the Hanks interview.

Neko Case was in the studio the whole time and was AMAZING. Homegirl was as funny as any comedian on the show.

Yup. I wasn't familiar with Callahan, so after about 5 minutes I started thinking he MUST be a character. But then his character bit didn't heighten, and Scott was being very deferential to him. Only towards the middle end of the episode did Scott finally call out how lame Callahan was being. "My favorite song? No

I loved it when I heard it but 6 days later I can recall nothing about the episode.

I loved the interview and could listen to them talk for another hour. I just enjoyed their easy rapport.

I wish Holmes had delved more into the 5-day a week therapy thing. She acted like analysis requires you to go to therapy 5 days a week - maybe it does, I have no idea. Hopefully Paul Gilmartin will be inspired you to interview her for Mental Illness Happy Hour. I'd love to hear more from her.

McKay was doing something revolutionary at Second City. Pinata Full of Bees is a legendary show on the most renowned stage for sketch in the country. But yeah, otherwise I think we all have consistent impressions of how the McKay/Breuer rift went down.

By downvoting this comment I am actually upvoting it.

(Both Andy & John) Daly and Gelman's characters are what all other CBB characters aspire to be. OK, throw in PFT's characters, then WOMP IT UP. What I'm saying is that if you don't like the Daly and Gelman episodes, you should ask yourself why you listen to CBB at all.

Interesting. Was there a falling out? Podcast drama?

I remember where I was and what I was doing when I heard that episode. GENIUS!!!

I listened through the summer and had to stop - every episode was the same as the last - Jen complaining and being grumpy. There were a few good stories sprinkled throughout, but not good enough to listen to someone bitch for an hour every week.

Well Season 2 is written, so I'm guessing we'll see the development of the Mark/Jessica relationship. I keep thinking how painful it must be to act out an early love affair right after it's ended. UGH. As someone mentioned upthread, I am way to involved in the personal lives of these podcasters.

I ask this because I don't want to wade through some 2 hour long Pete Holmes interview, but does Sanz address falling off the wagon? I swear to you that every podcast he appeared on over the summer, he sounded progressively more and more wasted. It made me sad because a few years ago he'd lost weight, looked really

I hope hope hope the LoShoPo continues. It is my favorite podcast. This season has been transformative, with Sean and Amber pushing each other to reveal more about their personal lives, Jamie's doofiness became less of a focus.

I think Eddie feels like he's too big for the LoShoPo. Obviously he won't say it in so many words, but everyone knows that's what's going on. Honestly, I enjoy the podcast without him. Eddie's like the diva on your improv team who only comes to one practice a month and then lays waste to your form in your shows. He's

At least he's not obsessed with Summah Gum this year.
