What about Veep, then?

"I want to see intelligent, well-written shows from female creators."

So what you're really saying is we should forgive this guy for cutting off someone's leg because the guy down the street is murdering people? It's not an either/or scenario, you know; you can condemn both. And the existence of a worse thing doesn't make the US government's actions right.

"Harris and Arkin were the ones who hatched the plot to steal the leads. However, it was Lemmon who actually went through with it."

Johnny Depp's another one.

Imagine if Mario Lopez tried to pretend he was gangsta, and imagine an even more harmless version of Saved by the Bell

It's not the letters I have an issue with, it's the idea of telling one's 10-year-old daughter "Hey, help your dad finally get his wish to sleep with his old flame!"

I don't know, Supernatural actually managed to layer the mysteries pretty well in its first 5 seasons. The idea that every mystery is just another layer that one has to peel back is doable, as long as the writers have a final Big Bad in mind and a specific date to introduce them (and not make them unkillable).

So I'm the only one who thinks of The River when I see that actor, huh?

Is it modelled after the "Shop around the Corner" website?

That would actually get me much more interested in the movie than I am now.

The premise itself was great. The problem with the show was the characters, though the actors gamely tried to make it work.

At the point when you start inviting children inside.

I'm also quite fond of The Shipping News too.

Yeah, this news is definitely some harsh barley, bro.

What are you talking about, Do No Harm was a runaway success.

Apparently the lead female's new friend is actually the ghost of her current beau's dead wife, or something.

Here's a cyanide pill.

May I remind you that in the movie, the dead wife convinced her 10 year old daughter to try to get her father and his high school crush to hook up? You may want to revisit the "pretty good" assertion.

Yeah, the whole "remember what they like for two months and buy it when the price has likely been hiked up for the holiday season, if it's even still available" thing just feels so tedious at times. If you're with someone whom you're planning to buy a gift for, and they express interest in something, buy it right
