You have polio?  Don't you know there are shots for that nowadays?

but we're talking about Waxey.

I think Jennifer Carpenter looks just fine.  Her asymmetry makes her interesting.  And we all get older.  Mirror, anyone?

Oh, just leave it to the Dexter writers….

And what competent serial killer picks up a promotional pen on a trip that he's trying to keep secret?

Seems like they are trying to borrow "cred" from the similar real-life serial killer nickname BTK.  It really annoys me.

I will miss the Sucklord.  He was my favorite.  Even if he didn't make anything very interesting, which I understand is the point of this show.

Tres leches is the bomb.  I was spoiled though because when I first moved to Texas I used to go to this new little restaurant where the (Mexican) owner's mom made the tres leches.  Alas, the restaurant closed.  And I have never again had tres leches that good.

Really?  I don't think it's that hard to bake a good cake from scratch.

I really liked Keith.  Bummer.  But who makes enchiladas with flour tortillas?

The show is always full of multiple races and ethnicities, all the way through the finals.  There have been a black and Asian winner.  Yeah, only one woman winner so far, but plenty make it to the final three.  Sorry, I don't think there's any  "there" there.

Bwa ha ha!

Yeah I think we've established that I'm a sievehead.

"I don’t really buy that Carrie would make the slip-up that she did about the tea. "
Well, she did reveal to Brody when drunk what the purpose of the polygraph was before he took it.  Not to mention sleeping with him.  So I buy it.

Anyone else notice the homage to "American Gothic" when Dexter and Brian were standing in the shed with the pitchfork just after killing the clerk, in front of a painting of a farmhouse?

I guess not.  Doh!

O.k., someone, when did Dexter kill Trinity?  Because both me and the friend I watch this show with did not catch that.  We have been thinking this whole time that that was a loose end that we hoped Dexter would tie up some time, if Lithgow's schedule ever permitted.  What I remember is, Rita dead in the bathtub to

Shot by Abigail Nelson.

"The only reason I kept watching at this point was to have a context for Teti's review."
Now THAT'S pop art.

The thing that stuck out for me about this episode was how 29 people who started the day thinking winning Top Chef was the thing they wanted most in the world ended the day thinking a Top Chef jacket was the thing they wanted most in the world.
