Was Spiral Knights terrible? I tried it on Steam and for the life of me could not figure out how the levels were structured or what I was supposed to be doing. After spending 15 minutes running around unable to operate an elevator for some reason, I quit and never went back. Looked like it had promise though.

Normally I can't get into MMOs, hate free-form, aimless game worlds and avoid online social interaction wherever possible, and I have been glued to this stupid game for weeks. Partly because it doesn't ask a whole lot of the player (except that damned "find the ghosts" quest…anyone?). You don't need to devote your

I may have missed an installment or two of this — has Sawbuck Gamer reviewed Glitch?

The one that stuck with me was this weird CG rendering of…something…I want to say I remember it as, like, a version of those novelty chattering teeth or something similar. There's this soothing music playing and a voiceover saying "Are you comfortable? It doesn't get any better than this." Then after a minute or so

Haven't played this, but as someone who loved Burnout 3 and hated Paradise, I can recommend Driver: San Francisco as a nice middle ground. It's open world, but the "shift" mechanic that lets you hop between cars eliminates the tedious driving from A to B. The missions are pretty fun and the mulitplayer is worth the

Hot Fuzz is brilliant. I liked SOTD quite a bit but didn't get around to Hot Fuzz until much later on DVD. Holy hell, it's great. Not to spoil it here for anyone who hasn't seen it, but for most of the movie it was pretty much exactly what I expected, and then there's that turn about 3/4 of the way through…

My girl loves it and we're getting married. Not sure that one necessarily led to the other, but it doesn't hurt.

Apparently it didn't = over.

My guess was going to be that in the finale, Larry gets a chance to redeem himself for blowing the big game…there's a do-over game for some technicality. Larry keeps hearing other people drop references to baseball jargon, and it makes him paranoid…a guy makes a joke about Larry "juicing" and Larry doesn't know if the

What a disappointment this season has turned out to be. Those first 4 or 5 episodes this season were Curb at its absolute best. Once Larry got to NY, the quality fell drastically and with this episode it may have hit rock bottom.

Vincent?…VINCENT! VIIIINNN— oh, there you are. WALT! WAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLT!

The jokes are funny but the characters kind of come off as bundles of quirks. It feels like it might get exhausting watching that week after week.

From what little I've seen of the pilots, I think Whitney's going to be the worst, but of the three my prediction is Two Broke Girls gets cancelled, and New Girl and Whitney get picked up, at least for a full season. I'd be surprised if any of them were back next year.
