Most scenes work as comedy and drama. It's easy to forget when it has a reputation for being a show that spends its time wallowing in misery and repeated mistakes.

You remember it wrong. There was a short blonde girl in a bikini, but she wasn't cute.

Why? Don't watch or read anything with rape in it if you can't consume fiction like an adult.

Bullshit. What the tumblr is going on in this thread?

If you're familiar with the introspective, small-town teen soaps that The WB used to produce then Todd's comment will probably make a lot more sense.

This is sounding too good to be true! Mendelsohn gives his characters such a real and narcissistic edge. Has anyone here seen Love My Way or Tangle?

He hasn't done anything Tim & Eric or PFFR didn't do years ago. That said, I like the show and the second season was even better than the first.

Great episode!

Back when SoA started I thought it could benefit from a full hour. Some room for the characters to breathe and less plotty procedural bullshit. I hope Kurt Sutter finally lets loose a bit. I'd like to see him go experimental or over-indulgent over the generic basic cable bore we've had for six seasons. Sure, there are

It's weird how Adult Swim viewers hate Tim & Eric and PFFR when they make the only shows stopping the network from actually being as lowbrow as the viewers accuse.

Is there a consensus on whether Scott Buck and other writers drove Dexter into the ground, or does the blame lays squarely at Showtime?

More like Jews.

Same.

Glad to see the AV Club reviewing some top-shelf TV comedy. Keep it up.

KOOL A COP SHOW WITH EDGY PROTAGONIST. THIS SOUNDS REALLY GUD GUYS LIKE DEXTER
