It's a failing of this movie that there apparently aren't lengthy scenes of Doctor Strange guzzling massive amounts of Mountain Dew. Or of The Ancient One laughing hysterically at Adam McKay movies. Or of a combination of the two with Strange directly recreating the "Milk was a bad choice" scene from Anchorman.
It's all worth it for this, though, right?
And the Cubs will appear on this week's episode.
Okay, I think I can confirm this now; Dave Chappelle is hosting next week's SNL, with musical guest A Tribe Called Quest.
This sounds like everything I want in a movie; Sofia Coppola directing, an awesome female cast, and presumably massive amounts of sad Colin Farrell.
As someone who loves all of Sofia Coppola's films, at least these comments haven't gotten to "she makes movies about sad white people!" yet.
"retro" cinematography?
5/5, bitches!
Does she act in these movies?
I can't wait for this, because I've really liked-to-loved all of Nichols' previous movies, and this sounds like it shares the reserved nature and poignancy of Midnight Special that made me absolutely love that film (and which similarly turned some people off then).

Honestly, I find the semi-appreciation for Coven here only slightly less offensive than I would Holocaust denial. That season has prevented me from watching any more of this show.
Coven made me angry like few other pieces of art have. Fuck that season.
Also, The Village losing Best Score to Finding Neverland at the Oscars that year is probably a contender for the very worst decision the Academy has ever made.
Night on Earth: Not quite up to the glorious cool of Mystery Train, but still very funny and very poignant.
I would love it if she or anyone got one for The Neon Demon. Alas…
Trust me, if I was voting for this, I would ideally just list Cliff Martinez five times.
Just my plain vanilla Disqus account.
I specifically logged back into this account to express my supreme disappointment about Schizopolis only getting the barest of mentions here, especially because I think he gives legit one of the greatest comedic performances ever in it. Although he does come close to topping it with his bizarre, matador-focused…
