How is covering a man in chocolate and sending him to be consumed by unwitting orphans just a LITTLE unsettling?  Either I'm too hungover to catch the sarcasm, or you've seen some gnarly shit in your life, Koski…

Tonight's top story:  Hunks!  And lots of 'em!

Tonight's top story:  Hunks!  And lots of 'em!

I'm so goddamn fully in love with this show. If they aired an episode that was 30 minutes of awkwardly wandering the halls of Greendale without focusing on anyone, where no one said anything and no plot ever developed, it'd still be one of my favorite eps of TV, because I'm just that crazy about getting to spend time

This truly is the only reasonable discussion that could occur on the X Factor review. Which is to say I don't watch this show but am also getting impatient for the Community review.

How about prickly interview-ERs?
My #1 would have to be "Rowdy" Roddy Piper- one time he hit a guest over the head with a coconut!

As a functional alcoholic poster I feel strangely validated by this list
Let's be honest here, "functional alcoholic" is probably a much more apt title for a lot of us regular internet visitors than "virgin" or "nerd"… well, maybe not nerd…

I cut this ep a good deal of slack because I really enjoyed it as a kid, but there's not much up there I'm capable of/interested in disputing. That being said, it's still pretty goddamn chilling to hear Dan Riley talking about his family and realizing he's forgetting pretty significant details about them.

@Bill Reed- I'd agree that Parks and Rec is more polarizing, but every time I've talked it up to someone it's less about the caliber of the show now, more about the weak first season poisoning people towards it. Despite all the hype it gets, I swear most of the time when I encounter people who don't watch Community,

I've never seen an episode of this show but I've long been tormented by an urge to find, and watch, that absolutely insane episode of television. I've seen tiny clips, and I've read mentions of it from actors on the show… it's GOT to be out there somewhere.

Jesus Christ no…
… just… no. I can't take it. My last roommate watched the first Teen Mom. My new roommate/sister watches this iteration. I'm not here to fault a pop culture site for reviewing pop culture, but I am gonna take a second to single out this show for being the god-awful mind-wrecking dreck that it is.

Yeah it'll be fun to re-read what I've put here and look for any coherence at all once it stops being 2 am and I'm even remotely well-rested…

Anime
Up through most of 2009 I pretty much wrote off the entire genre, for… well I can't really recall why. I grew up with a borderline-unhealthy love of animated shows and movies, and that interest seems to have grown stronger as I've aged. So it finally occurred to me that I needed to stop disregarding such a

Hot Damn! (w/r/t Batman: TAS)
I don't know if I ever voiced my hope that Batman would get TV Club love, or if I was too pessimistic to bother, but that is appointment reading… well, it will be as soon as I get home from work (I'm one of those fortunate people with a college degree who couldn't get a job that requires

Put me down for some Arrogant Bastard love. I've had the 60, 90, and 120 min IPAs from Dogfish Head, and all are terrific, though if you're not that interested in strong beers, don't bother trying anything other than the 60 min. Also, if you want a great dark beer, Old Rasputin is a terrific choice.

Loved it
Absolute A on my end, but I'm an easy mark for the 'endless conspiracies' gag, so I enjoyed that series of convoluted reveals from start to finish.

Scranton Strangler
For some odd reason my first thought when we found out the Scranton Strangler had been caught was that we'd discover it was Timothy Olyphant's character, I guess because, well… I mean Jesus it's not like he'll be around forever, they have to write him off the show somehow.

The double-bounce scene was fucking spectacular. I know we're supposed to talk about Donald Glover's greatness here, but I'm gonna give props to Chevy's sadistic glee as he demands the double bounce.

My simple explanation of Britta's behavior:
She wounds easily, and she's defensive by nature. I also love her character.
