Overthinking pop culture is a really enjoyable form of escapism for me. All these goddam Trump articles take away from that escapism. I tried going directly to TV club, but the "Most Read" section makes avoiding anger inspiring headlines impossible. Based on the presence of Trump articles in that section, it sounds

Every time a "Check out these assholes on twitter" article gets posted, another gross man in a Fedora gets a boner and the confidence he needs to harass a waitress he finds attractive. Do not give them this.

Way to deincentivize inclusion, outrage dummies. I bet dozens of writers rooms are figuring out a tactful way to say "Maybe it's best to just *not* make this show inclusive, it's not worth the trouble. Those TNT shows have the right idea."

Cameraman Howard Kremer could take over Reggie's spot pretty well.

Please tell me the opening credit music is PoePoeZao

Give us some slack, we can't afford boots & leather, just crackerjack clothes.

Something about the sound seemed different in the finale, and the groups had more difficulty staying in tune with each other than they did for the rest of the season. I wonder if the sound setup wasn't designed to accommodate live broadcasts.
Also, I like how, throughout the season, Sean Stockman's feedback channeled

Jack White should sign Dexter to his label, and have him put out vulgar, noisy blues/funk albums.  I'd spotify the shit out of that.

I wish this one had been in "The Best", if only to show support for the Ban. The weakest call, from Amadeus, resulted in yet another ban! I feel like the show I love is back. It went by as quickly as the one with the "what commercials should be TV shows" topic.

His quick confession seemed subconsciously inspired by his obsession with "manufacturing", and how elaborately he's rationalized everything so far. It's fine in his mind, so perhaps Skylar will see that too.

The replacement possibility is a cool one, if only because I can easily imagine Jack and Sawyer having the same conversation that Jacob and Smokey had at the start of the S5 finale. "Do you have any idea how badly I want to kill you…"

I pretty much assumed the same. I'd like to think it's a good natured swipe, as I've heard interviews with Greg where he's very self-aware/candid about his career arc, and turns out his standup is pretty good, too.

That's a great track. Super long yet never wears out its welcome.

Agree 100% on Love Lies Bleeding. Elton John gets a lifetime pass for that song… a pass he's tested the limits of extensively.

John Hamburg
Might be involved in Writing crappy Fockers movies, but I'll let it slide since he wrote/directed I Love You Man and directed the Stella shorts & several episodes of the TV show.

He's a murderer… WITH A BAYBAY!
The killer-with-a-baby stuff bordered on satire, it was embarrassing to watch, particularly from a show I enjoyed so much in the past.

My only complaint was that this very-improved version of the show was very unfriendly to new-viewers or ones giving it a second chance after hearing of improvements.
I don't want to dumb it down to Heroes depths, but a bit of new viewer help, perhaps just a 2 minute intro, might get people up to speed and get them

It's a shock similar to finding out that David Sedaris doesn't sound like Kelsey Grammer.
Also, I used to imagine ZMF sounding like the kid in this commercial:

Add Madman Across the Water, too. Got into early Elton John just recently, and realizing just how influential it was.
