I think they are in the sense that people either think they're brilliant or completely and totally awful. That debate happens with a lot of groups I guess, but it applies to Animal Collective more than others.
And they live in Brooklyn and aren't playing here either. This is strange…
@avclub-5bc6960dad8ab0694bb4d6ff884b0c1e:disqus no matter your average we all rank "sad" on the life scale.
When I saw that Girl Talk had been hired as an editor I was a bit confused, but this is making sense now.
/frantically trying to come up with an applicable quote.
Dennis: "Charlie can't read."
Hi, welcome to the AV Club. Can I show you around?
If you ever fapped to Leia in her gold bikini you fapped to slavery.
Those episodes were just on again recently. I still am dumbfounded at how they made him crash the shuttle when they were landing. That seemed beyond the pale even for him. At what point is he bottoming out?
I'm sorry @avclub-4ffabf87500b89362ca0abc12daf720b:disqus , you may be right, but it's still too damn close for my taste. I still hear it as Archer.
Yeah, everything about that scene was uncomfortable. Funny, but gross.
I can't watch Always Sunny when I'm hungover for that exact reason. Sometimes the show is just screaming at you.
I kind of agree with @Dikachu:disqus here. Jon Benjamin's voice is great, but it lacks a certain dad-ness to it that I think Bob should have. My bigger problem is that I'm such a huge fan of Archer and this show coming out right on the heels of Archer with the same voice in the lead role seems like kind of a mistake…
Different writers I'm assuming.
I made this point further up in the comments, but holy shit I can't believe they made a concentration camp joke. I know one of the rules of comedy is that nothing is off limits, but I don't know…that just rubbed me the wrong way and I'm not even Jewish.
Holy shit, that concentration camp joke was just fucking awful. On what planet does that make it past whoever edits these things? Maybe I'm being too sensitive, but I'm not even Jewish and I think that was in incredibly poor taste.
"You take this Oscar and you fucking shove it."
It can be, and Tarantino has made them great art. But, I think this movie has to be the last one he does. I enjoyed it, but it felt a little hollow as we've been down this path before. You should still see it, but just know that no new ground is being broken here.
