I love reading any article I can find about Captain Beefheart, but my real takeaway tonight has been this: holy hell, Harry Partch is the MAN.

I was gonna do some trolling here and say, "No way, 'Animals' is by far the worst Pink Floyd album…it's not half the record 'The Wall' is," but I decided I didn't have the energy, and everybody would see right through it anyway.

In my case, I dug way deep but I still like "Decals" the best, with "Milk" second and "Doc" third. These days I mostly listen to "Milk" because I'm more into blues than I was 20 years ago. Back then it was all "Decals" and "TMR" all the time.

You know, everything is not an anecdote.

Whenever I see the CYOA books mentioned, my mind always wants to leap to, "Oh yeah, I read TONS of those when I was a kid," but now that I think about it, I probably only checked three of them out from the library, grand total, over the course of a couple months in second or third grade.
